At the heart of FLOUR TO THE PEOPLE is Mallori Jackson, the Executive Pastry Chef & Owner. Mallori honed her craft at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, bringing over a decade of experience in food service and hospitality. As a Charlotte, NC native she is known for her dedication, artistry, and deep love for community, she has always believed that food is more than just sustenance—it’s storytelling, history, and joy.
Baking has always been a part of her story. Growing up, the kitchen was where memories were made, stories were shared, and love was expressed through food. Inspired by her Southern roots and a passion for reimagining classic desserts, She set out to create a bakehouse that honors tradition while making plant-based indulgence accessible to everyone.
FLOUR TO THE PEOPLE isn’t just about desserts—it’s about culture, heritage, and joy. Every cake, cookie, and sweet treat is crafted with intention, using high-quality ingredients, sustainable packaging, and a whole lot of soul. From fluffy layers of Red Velvet Cake to the rich nostalgia of Pecan Praline Cookies, each bite celebrates the flavors of the South in a way that’s fresh, fun, and luxurious.
Beyond baking, FLOUR TO THE PEOPLE is committed to uplifting our community. Through the Flour Forward Project, we’re dedicated to supporting Black farmers, hosting baking workshops, and creating opportunities that empower the next generation of culinary artists.
